Batman: Arkham Knight - Episode 9: Just Like The Old Days

Batman: Arkham Knight Episode 9: Just Like The Old Days - Batman picks up a new lead on the Perfect Crime serial killings, tracing the next body to Founders’ Island. On his way, he dismantles his first militia Watchtower and Checkpoints stationed across the island, taking back control one area at a time. After battling past heavily armed forces, Batman eventually finds the next corpse and begins his forensic analysis. With Gotham still under siege, Batman intercepts another of the Arkham Knight’s senior lieutenants in an armored personnel carrier, stopping the convoy and weakening the Knight’s militia network. Riddler calls again—this time it’s another complex trial. Batman faces his third challenge. Using the Batmobile's eject function and the new Batsuit's capabilities, he navigates a high-speed, acrobatic obstacle course inside the riddle room. Afterwards, he once again assists Catwoman by guiding her to the correct key. Only four more remain. Batman returns to the streets and intercepts yet another militia lieutenant, slowly tearing down the Arkham Knight’s forces from within. He then heads to the Cauldron fire station, now set ablaze by Firefly. Batman confronts the arsonist mid-crime, but once again, Firefly manages to escape, leaving the final confrontation for another time. Back in Gotham, Nightwing finally arrives from Blüdhaven, reconnecting with Batman on the streets. Their reunion is brief but strong—just like the old days. Nightwing gives Batman a custom Disruptor that can track and sabotage Penguin’s illegal arms deals. With the new gear, Batman traces one of Penguin’s weapons trucks to a hidden weapons cache. After clearing out guards and breaking into the hideout, Batman confronts Oswald Cobblepot directly. Under pressure, Penguin reveals that the Arkham Knight is heading to meet Simon Stagg, a biotech magnate believed to be in hiding aboard airships over the West River, preparing to flee Gotham. Before Batman can react, Penguin's men ambush him—thugs hold him down, and Cobblepot manages to escape. But just in time, Nightwing returns, joining Batman for a classic tag-team takedown. Together, they dismantle the room full of Penguin’s men. Batman orders Nightwing to continue tracking Penguin’s remaining caches, while he finishes the job by destroying the arms shipment.
