Injured 'Taaru' after a terrible territorial fight with Shambhu which led to its migration to somewhere near Mamla. Tigers are elusive, muscular and solitary powerful hunters. They are territorial by nature. When two rival tigers meet, they often employ intimidation to avoid physical confrontation (being maneless, tigers usually spend less time fighting to avoid injury and infection). Once intimidation fails, a vicious fight is inevitable: an all-out clash of the killers, resulting in severe injury or amputation, and oftentimes resulting in one of the contestants’ immediate death.
