Brooklyn School on Lockdown after Two Men Shot, 1 Critical near Coffey Park

September 22, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: At approximately 11:03am, 76th precinct police responded to a shooting at 465 Columbia st near the intersection Columbia & Mill Streets in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. Two men were shot near Coffey Park, victim 1 was located with a gunshot wound to the leg and victim 2 was found with life threatening wounds, by Dwight Street near Coffey Park. Both victims were transported to area hospitals. According to police radio transmission, no students were injured at a nearby school, however, the school on Huntington street is on lockdown.
