The story takes place in February 2021, 3 years and 8 months after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Ethan Winters and his wife Mia Winters move to the parts of Eastern Europe courtesy of BSAA Cpt. Chris Redfield, where they have been laying in cover for years. During those years, Ethan took courses in military training and they conceived a child named Rosemary Winters. The Baker incident was covered up as a gas leak that killed everyone in the family with the exception of Zoe Baker and her uncle Joe Baker. Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the tenth main installment in the Resident Evil series and a narrative sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
