Learn how to draw a railway track in one-point perspective with this simple and beginner-friendly tutorial! In this step-by-step drawing lesson, you will discover how to place the vanishing point on the right side of the paper and draw a railway track that moves diagonally from right to left, creating a strong and dynamic perspective effect. It is perfect for students and beginners. This video explains horizon lines, vanishing points, perspective rules, and how to correctly draw rails and sleepers so they appear realistic and proportional. Whether you are practicing perspective drawing for school, improving your sketching skills, or learning art fundamentals, this easy tutorial will guide you through every step. Enjoy learning one-point perspective and create a beautiful, realistic railway track drawing! To draw a railway track in one-point perspective with the vanishing point on the right side of the paper, start by sketching a horizon line and placing the vanishing point on the right. From this point, draw two diagonal lines down toward the left to form the edges of the track, and add two more lines inside them for the rails, making them wider as they move left toward the viewer. Draw sleepers across the rails, keeping the ones in the foreground large and spaced widely apart, while the ones near the vanishing point become smaller and closer together. On both sides of the track, add poles and trees that follow the same perspective rules. They should be large and detailed near the viewer, and gradually smaller as they move toward the vanishing point. Finish by adding light shading, ground details, and cleaning up your guidelines. This creates a realistic railway track that travels diagonally across the page with proper depth and perspective. While drawing with perspective and understanding perspective rules may seem challenging, once you learn the basics of perspective, you can easily draw anything realistically. My goal in this video is to share easy perspective tips with beginners and amateur artists alike, taking your perspective skills to the next level. With each video, you'll get a better understanding of perspective and see how you're improving your perspective drawings, step by step. You'll also learn how to avoid perspective mistakes as you watch.
