Ingredients 1 Tbsp Ghee 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds 2 Bay Leaves 4 Green Cardamom 2 Cup Basmati Rice soaked 3 Cup Water 1 Tsp Salt Method 1.Place a Borosil pressure cooker and heat the ghee. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves and green cardamom. Let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant and colour in brown. 2.Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pressure cooker. Stir gently to coat the rice with the ghee and cumin seeds. 3.Add water and salt. Stir once to mix everything well. 4.Close the lid of the pressure cooker and set the heat to medium-high. 5.Cook until 3 whistle for 5-6 minutes. 6.Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally. 7.Once the pressure has released completely, open the lid and gently fluff the rice with a spoon and serve with dal tadka and mango pickle.
