RED WARNING LIGHT TURNS ON | MEXICO: Visit from home (Tulum, Cenotes & Sea) | #92
In our latest vlog, we're on our way to Cancun to pick up our friends Lena, Simon, and their baby Jella from the airport. The three of them are coming all the way from Germany to visit us in Mexico. But suddenly, our camper, Captain Knut, starts having problems: The engine light with the radiator symbol is flashing! Is the engine overheating? Or has the coolant leaked? And will we still make it to the airport in time? Despite this nerve-wracking challenge, we make a quick stop along the way to shop at our first Walmart in Mexico – a real first for us! Together with Lena, Simon, and Jella, we then take an exciting trip to the impressive Mayan ruins of Tulum. This historic site is located directly on the Caribbean coast and offers breathtaking views of the sea. Tulum was once an important port city of the Mayan civilization and is now one of the best-preserved coastal ruins in Mexico. To round off this video, we visit the famous cenote 'Dos Ojos'. Cenotes are natural limestone holes filled with freshwater. The Maya considered them sacred places and used them as water sources and for ritual ceremonies. Dos Ojos is especially known for its breathtaking underwater caves, which are among the most beautiful diving and snorkeling spots in the region.
