December Reflections | When Slowing Down Doesn’t Go as Planned

December didn’t go the way I planned — and that ended up being exactly what we needed. At the beginning of the month, my intention was to slow down and focus on creating a Christ-centered home through Advent readings, devotionals, and daily rhythms. Some of those things happened… and many didn’t. Instead, what this season required was rest, flexibility, and surrender. In this video, I’m sharing what this December actually looked like, what I learned about slowing down, and how God met us in a quieter, simpler way than I expected.
