Munchies 420

Munchies 420

For those of you that know me. I’m not the worlds most athletic or competitive person. With that being said I am rather competitive when it comes to certain things. One of them is food challenges, ever since I was a kid. I’ve been intrigued by the concept of food challenges. But it wasn’t until watching my first episode of Man v. Food, that I decided to give it a whirl. So over the past few years I’ve taken on a few food challenges here and there. Some off of Man v. Food to see if I can out do Adam Richman, some off the beaten path just for fun. My forte has been spicy foods, being an Asian guy spicy is a common seasoning in my day to day meals. I took this to heart when I took on the Angel’s BBQ Voodoo Juice Challenge. Without any preparation (the other guy taking the challenge had been “training for weeks” with various hot sauces) beat the challenge within 3 minutes. After that it was on. With the help of my hype man and best friend Timmy Vo. I’ve taken on some crazy challenges, the bushido spicy tuna challenge was a 5 year in the making challenge. That I took down in 8 minutes and 25 seconds. But nothing could really prepare me for what my friend dubbed my Rocky IV. That being The Fire in Your Hole Wing Challenge at Munchies 420 Café, after seeing Adam Richman finish off only one wing and seeing the utter pain in his eyes. I will admit I was scared poop less. But as a friend of mine once said, I had the heart of a true contender. So to prepare for the Fire in Your Hole Wing Challenge, I look over the episode of Man v. Food. To see where Adam Richman went wrong and how I could find a way to tackle this challenge and not lose. Because as my friend Timmy said. “If you don’t beat this challenge right there and then. We don’t know when the next time we’ll be back down in Sarasota for you to take it again.”. So submitted for your approval. I give you my version of Rocky IV.
