Fed-up Britons lamented the 'treacherous' conditions today amid further intense downpours and flooding, with another four inches of rain expected to fall as the miserable June weather continues. More than 90 flood warnings and alerts have been imposed across England, with people in the Midlands rescued from their cars after getting stuck driving through deep water - and properties and roads inundated. Drenched social media users took to Twitter to complain about the four days of miserable weather since Monday, which has been a stark contrast to this time last year when the UK was enjoying its hottest summer on record. Met Office warnings are in place for parts of Scotland, North Wales and northern England today.
