Both the Wild and Avs were thought of as bubble teams to start the 2013-14 season, and they proved the doubters wrong. Minnesota finished the season on a high capturing the top wild card spot in the West while Colorado claimed a division title over the mighty St. Louis Blues & Chicago Blackhawks. This long, underrated rivalry will meet in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and if it is anything like their season series, this should be a good battle.
