I had some ideas for improving 3-Castle, so I tried TASing it to see how much time I could save, and this was the result. A lot of the movement in this TAS is different from the old TAS ( • [TAS] World 3-Castle 100% IL (468) ), though some movement is pretty much the same. Carrying a bob-omb past the checkpoint only saves ~17 frames over using the bob-omb from the second bob-omb spawner, since the second bob-omb in the area has to be used for the ice barrier on the right. Using the third bob-omb for that would be ideal, but the third bob-omb is lit 6 frames too late to explode the right ice barrier without killing the fourth bob-omb, and there doesn't seem to be a way to position the third bob-omb on the right in a way that doesn't explode the fourth bob-omb.
