The Day Spring Has Dawned — SPEAK THE WORD Sunday 6th April 2025- Second service Luke 1:78-79 Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace." God has given a word this month of April of what He is going to do in our lives because of His tender mercies: He is going to create, correct and restore. However, since the Kingdom of God suffers violence, we must learn to take the Word by force. Mark 4:1-20 [3] "Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow... [11] And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,... [14] The sower sows the word. The secret of God's Kingdom is locked up in the seed and the seed is God's Word. Every word that we say or speak is a seed sown. God has given us a Word for this month (the day spring from on high visiting us because of His tender mercies). All we have to do is to believe and keep that Word in our hearts and it will change our careers, businesses, relationships etc. Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith is what we use to receive what God has done for us. This is why we must hold onto the Word because God cannot help a man who is not willing to take His Word however much He loves him. Isaiah 55:11 Every time God has a mission, He doesn't send Angels but His Word. Be committed to God's Word in your speaking and meditation while taking heed to what you hear: do not give ears to what kills but what brings life to you. Genesis 15:8-18 God had promised to give Abraham an heir from his own body. When he asked how that would happen, God had to make a covenant with him as a surety that what He had spoken would come to pass. Having prepared the sacrifices, God passed in the form of a smoking oven and a burning torch but Abraham being asleep at that time means that God made a covenant with Himself. That is what we call the tender mercies of God. Luke 1:78-79 is becoming a reality in our lives but our role is to keep the Word in our hearts and on our tongues. God speaks to us so that we speak what He has said; that is what Isaiah 50:4 means by Him giving us the tongue of the learned. Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. The tongue was not only made for taste but has the power to create life or destroy it. That is why we need to speak right by speaking God's Word consistently and then watch what the Holy Spirit will do with us. Genesis 1:1-3 God used His mouth to create and the primary reason why He gave us our mouths is to speak. Some things that are happening in our lives do not require praying and binding because God has already given us the authority; all we need to do is to speak and declare the Word and then watch what God will do.
