I played the first hour a decade ago and then quit, but now I’m back to finish what I started—or at least cry trying. In Part 1, we wake up on the Torrens, meet the crew, and take a nice relaxing spacewalk over to Sevastopol Station. Obviously, nothing goes to plan, there are explosions, and I end up separated, alone, and hyperventilating in a vent within minutes. There is no Alien yet, but the atmosphere alone is enough to make a grown man nervous. Also, I get jumpscared by my own Twitch notifications, which sets the tone for the rest of the series perfectly.
