Matthew Ryan and William Warburton fought a hard 6 rounds at the Middleton Arena in Manchester on Saturday night (May 27) It was a competitive rematch with neither giving ground and the fans in attendance were treated to an exiting scrap. Current English super-welterweight champion Ryan (belt not on the line) was eventually awarded the decision on points with referee Darren Sarginson scoring the fight 58-57 in his favour. The fight was covered by British Boxers BBTV with commentary from Aky Karim and Tommy Dix.
