SPC Andre Shepherd refuses to participate in an illegal and inhumane war and has petitioned the german government to grant him political asylum. The German Government, by their own statutes, is required to grant that request which is based on the overwhelming and irrefutable evidence presented in the application filed by SPC Andre Shepherd. In a Recent ruling the german "Federal Office of Immigration and Refugees" denied the appllication while ignoring, at the same time, all of the evidence presented and disregarding international law. The "Federal Office of Immigration and Refugees" has washed its hands of the entire matter, ala Pontius Pilate, thus forcing that the case to be thrown into another arena. That ruling is now being appealed. This is just one phase in a battle that will only intensify along the way. SPC Andre Shepherd is confident as to the outcome. Victory will be measured in many ways.
