Doom 3 | Original Xbox Longplay

Doom 3 (Xbox) is a version of the 2004 first-person shooter game Doom 3, developed by id Software and published by Activision. It was ported to the Xbox by Vicarious Visions and released worldwide on April 4, 2005. The Xbox version supports up to four players in system link mode, with a maximum of one player per console, and includes both versus and co-op modes. The game features a two-player co-operative mode for the main single-player game. The Xbox version of Doom 3 also includes the ability to play The Ultimate Doom and Doom II, as well as Master Levels for Doom II. Additionally, the Xbox version of Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, an expansion pack and sequel to Doom 3, was released for Xbox on October 5, 2005. This version includes The Ultimate Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, and Master Levels for Doom II, and features eight multiplayer game modes, twelve new single-player levels, six new enemies, and new weapons such as the double-barreled shotgun. The Xbox version of Doom 3 has a screen resolution of 320x240, which is different from the 320x200 of the original game, and does not support gamma adjustment, which may affect its appearance on some TV sets. The game was released in the United States on August 3, 2004, and to the rest of the world on August 13, 2004. The Xbox version of Doom 3 was included in the Doom 3 Collector's Edition, which was released in 2005 and included two exclusive levels, "Sewers" for The Ultimate Doom and "Betray" for Doom II. The Xbox version of Doom 3 was also part of the Doom 3: BFG Edition, which included a remastered version of Resurrection of Evil. The game received a positive reception for its fear-inspiring atmosphere and groundbreaking graphics, but was criticized mainly for its simplistic gameplay and clichéd horror effects. The game's source code was released under the GPL.
