1B/3B Spencer Torkelson: 2021 AAA Full Highlights | #4 MiLB Prospect

This video contains all of the hits from Spencer Torkelson in AAA Toledo Mud Hens. Spencer did something very unusual in the minor league system. He played A+, AA, AAA all in one year and might be headed to a spring training invite where he can possibly make the Detroit Tigers Opening Day Roster. MiLB 2021 Stats: .267 Avg | 91 RBI | 30 HR | 89 Runs | .935 OPS. AAA Stats: .238 Avg | 27 RBI | 11 HR | 35 SB | .881 OPS. My Scouting report on him: Every hit can go over the fence, incredible power. Opposite field power and adjustment that is extremely impressive at such a young age. Trying to field a shift on him might not be worth trying. Fast adaption to the game, wherever he goes he hits. If he can improve his speed, he can have a lot more XBH. It seems like he gets off too slow off home plate and it costs him a lot of bases over time. Since he hits the ball far, he tends to stay back a bit and thinks it's always a homer. I believe he is MLB ready right now to play 1B for Detroit but not for 3B. He played 3B in high school and now Detroit is trying to transition him back but it needs some improvement. He has progressed pretty well so far for a minor league level 3B. SUBSCRIBE AND LIKE!
