Yorkville Sweater – 4mm (US 6) using Green Mountain Spinnery Mewesic DK base in the Brickhouse colourway – Pattern should be coming later this year 4. Secret design project ____________________ Spinning 1. Muted Crocus Gradient – White ply is a polworth top from John Arbon Textiles and the coloured ply is a bag of Urchins (Batt Bits) from Spin Jones in the Crocus Colour set – Spun as a 2 ply using mainly short forward draw and ended up with 206gm, 647yd / 592m ____________________ Acquisitions: 1. SMAL I will be co-hosting a Spin & Make Along starting the 6th May 2019 with Grace of Babbles Travelling Yarns Podcast - Idea being that we spend a few months spinning the yarn for a project (until end of July) and then a few months making the project we spun for? This could be anything from Knitting, Crochet or Weaving. If your not a spinner you can take part in the Making portion of the along but you will need to use handspun to enter (so either handspun you’ve been gifted or bought). Sweater KAL I will also be hosting a Sweater KAL until the end of November 2019, you can knit any sweater you wish however you will get two entries into the FO thread if you use one of my designs, but ultimately you can knit any sweater pattern you would like for this KAL, every finished sweater will count as an entry. This will start now! WIPS are allowed as long as there is still a significant portion of the sweater still left to be knit.
