A CALL TO BROKENNESS;MAKE JESUS FAMOUS PRAYER HOUR | PASTOR BEN OCHOLA

A CALL TO BROKENNESS Tuesday 17th December 2024 John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth and if you're going to have any dealing with God, it must come from a place of true/sincere brokenness because God never entertains lies and hypocrisy. (John 14:6) Isaiah 66:1-2 Thus says the LORD: " Heaven [is] My throne, And earth [is] My footstool. Where [is] the house that you will build Me? And where [is] the place of My rest? For all those [things] My hand has made, And all those [things] exist," Says the LORD. " But on this [one] will I look: On [him who is] poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word. Brokenness is an atmosphere that draws God into a place. God must help us and bring us to true brokenness. When a man is broken, they cease to function by their will because they have yielded their will to His will. A broken heart leans on the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction and makes a man continually stand before the Master and desire His strength, help, wisdom, etc. 2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. A nation cannot change until the church gets to its rightful place for the state of the nation is only revealed by the state of the church. We have all messed up, all we can do is cry for mercy for God to bring back brokenness in the hearts of believers. (Daniel 9:1-20) We need the shepherd's heart back in the house of God. This cannot come from anywhere else, but as the church, we have to prostrate before the Lord for the nation to bow her knees to Jesus. Luke.22.42 saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done." We must move beyond mere words and, deep within our hearts, cry out for His will to be done. This is the cry of heaven for the nation of Uganda, no one has the answer apart from the church. There is still hope for this nation and our generation. Let us take responsibility for crying out to God in utmost humility and brokenness, and asking Him to have His way in this nation. STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. PASTOR BEN OCHOLA!
