Sirach reminds us that honoring parents brings blessing, stability, and long life, while Saint Paul calls families to clothe themselves with compassion, humility, patience, and love. In the Gospel, the Holy Family faces danger, displacement, and uncertainty, yet remains united in obedience to God’s will. Jesus grows not in a perfect environment, but in a faithful one. This feast teaches us that holiness is formed in daily life—through love, sacrifice, obedience, and trust in God.
