Anaheim police shoot a man during a foot pursuit

Anaheim police were trying to apprehend two male suspects wanted in an earlier kidnapping and assault case when they were spotted entering a car. Officers attempted to pull the car over when a short pursuit ensued before officers used the PIT maneuver at Euclid and La Palma. The subjects fled and one was shot during the foot pursuit. A firearm was recovered at the scene and the suspect was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
