Short Story: Emotional Contagion - Workplace rudeness is contagious

As the results of this study show, a form of social contagion that involves the spontaneous spread of emotions and related behaviors is called 'emotional contagion'. These emotional convergence can happen from one person to another, or in a larger group. Rudeness at work leads to employees associating the workplace with rudeness, thus activating the concept of rudeness when they are at work. This is a never-ending cycle. I hopes this study will encourage leaders to take incivility more seriously. #rudeness #emotion #convergence
