Drunk Driver Crashes Into Police Officers During An Investigation Sending 2 Officers To The Hospital Early this morning, Miami-Dade police officers were investigating a prior incident in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 55th Street in Miami-Dade, Florida, when a car slammed into a patrol car on the scene. A male officer sitting inside the cruiser was injured and a female officer who was standing outside was injured as well. Both officers were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and in stable condition. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI. In this video, you will see scene video including the damaged police car and damaged suspect vehicle. There is a quick shot of the suspect inside of a police car.
