Here is a detail bed building with time elapse of everything I used from start to finish. This bed is mainly out of recycle wood materials I picked up for free on kijiji, some I picked up on the curb side on garbage day and some was given by friends. I challenge myself to reuse as much materials as possible without having to buy. The build was challenging yet fun to piece things together into something I need for the van. Yes there are little hole here and there as I didn’t take the time to patch everything up or fill it up with wood filler before sanding and painting but the flaw is part of the charm of the build in itself. I am not here to make things look perfect, my main concern is to make things functional as a priority. I encourage you to reuse materials as not only for the environment but you will be saving lots of money doing so. I enjoy the challenge building this bed frame and is happy with the end result of how solid it is and the upgrade of the 8 inch mattress to sleep on is heavenly. Not only you can sleep side way if you are petite like me or you can extend the bed to sleep lengthwise if you are taller and probably able to sleep 3 lengthwise. This is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Cheers to all Gangsta Goddesses. Music: Pila Pala Paradise – Rachel K Collier Global-Emmit Fenn
