Donors Are Disgusted By Ron DeSantis' Personality But Still Give Him Money

According to a new report, donors to Florida governor Ron DeSantis are still giving him the money that he needs, but they personally don't like him at all. One described him as having the personality of a piece of paper, while others said that his "extreme arrogance" was too much to ignore. These views of DeSantis could seriously hurt him in a presidential bid, as Farron Cousins explains. link - https://www.rawstory.com/ron-desantis... Don't forget to like, comment, and share! According to a new report from Vanity Fair, Gabriel Sherman, Ron DeSantis is still getting tons of money from big name Republican donors. He's even taken some of Donald Trump's big money donors brought him over into his camp because those people were sick and tired of Donald Trump's attitude. But uhoh, Mr. Sherman, in interviews with some of these donors, staffers, current and former, say that Ron DeSantis apparently has the same attitude problem that Donald Trump has. So I'm gonna read a couple quotes because I absolutely love these. These are what people who know Ron DeSantis best actually think of him while reporting this profile. More than a dozen G O P donors, elected officials and former DeSantis staffers predicted that DeSantis combative temperament would be a serious liability if exposed to the white hot glare of a presidential campaign. Where have y'all heard that before? Hm? Is, is there maybe a bald, overweight guy on YouTube that's been screaming that for months now at you? Because that is exactly what I have been saying forever. DeSantis can't keep his cool. I mean, I don't even have to repeat all this. You can go back and watch any video I've done where I've talked about DeSantis running for president. And I say the same thing every time you watch his press conferences, if he takes questions at all, he gets very combative, he gets very angry. His face will literally turn red because he can't handle it, and he is going to fall apart when he is on that debate stage for the Republican primary. If he even makes it to that point. I've said it a hundred times, but hearing it come from the people who know him even better than I do, because I don't know him, I know what I see on TV that tells you something. And it's not just that I was right all along. I don't like to toot my own horn very often, but I gotta tell you folks, I nailed it on this one. They continue. People describe DeSantis personality as a mix of extreme arrogance and painful awkwardness. Also reminiscent of Donald Trump, right? Extreme arrogance. Those who work with him say that he never says thank you. The donors who have put on these lavish fundraisers for him say that the guy doesn't say thank you. He acts like if you work for him or if you're near him, it's a privilege for you to be in his general vicinity because to DeSantis, that's what it is. So a lot of people, myself included, always thought that Donald Trump's biggest liability was his temper and his arrogance. But DeSantis didn't seem to have the arrogance, but now we find out that he does, that's gonna come back and hurt him. And I'll get more to that in just a moment. But let me continue. As one g p Insider puts it, he's missing the sociability gene. He doesn't do the warm and fuzzies. Well, I was at a fundraiser in DC where he was like two hours late. Everyone was like, What the? And then he continued. When you work for Ron, he makes you feel like you're just lucky to be there. I once had to drive him to the airport. We got stuck in traffic for an hour and he didn't say a word. Another staffer described him as quote, having the personality of a piece of paper and another staffer added, He's a terrible bully. So he is boring as hell. He has no charisma. He's incapable of basic social interactions. He's arrogant, he's ungrateful, and he has a bad temper. And these are the things, again, the people closest to Ron DeSantis, donors, current staffers, former staffers, all of who of course spoke on the condition of anonymity, cuz God forbid you ever speak out and have a backbone. But they're telling us these things mostly as a warning. And I think the warning is not for us. I think that warning is mostly for DeSantis, letting him know that if you don't change your personality, you are screwed. If you ever try to run for president, that's who this warning is for. Because DeSantis, even with his horrible personality, the arrogance and the, you know, personality of a piece of paper, he's still pulling in the big money, right? He's not turning off the donors yet, but he could. If another potential challenger arises at this point and these big Republican donors look at him and say, Well, or her, uh, this person has a real chance here. They could beat Ron DeSantis.
