Buta dali & patato curry: Buta dali(slit Bengal gram) curry is very healthy & easy recipe.This tasty curry goes very well with Roti,puri,pitha &steamed rice.so learn the procedure & try it at home. Ingredients & Method:- Step1: Boil the 2 cup soaked chana dal(slit bengal gram) & 2 patato dices with 1/2 spn salt& 1/2 spn turmeric powder. Step2:In a pan heat up 4 spn oil & add 1 spn cumin seeds ,2 red dry chilli,bay leaves,fry it few seconds.Add 2 chopped onion,soute till they turn golden brown. step3: Add 1spn crushed ginger ,1 spn crushed garlic, fry it for few seconds.Add 1 spn red chilli powder & 1/2 spn kashmiri red chilli powder then add 2 chopped tamato ,mix it & cover the pan cook it well till they turn pulpy. Step4: Add 1spn coriander powder,1/2 spn cumin powder mix well & cook for 2 mins. Step5: Add the boiled chana dal ,salt,mix well.Cover it for 3 mins,then add water as required & cover,cook it for 5 mins.Chana dal is ready now.Transfer it into a serving bowl ,garnish with coriander leaves & serve it.
