Transfer Microblading to Microshading 2024

This beautiful soul is actually a superhero disguised as an mom. She had previous Microblading elsewhere and several sessions of it. The microblade had left indentions in her beautiful skin. We tried to do Nano bc she really wanted the hairstroke look. If you watch this video until the VERY end...you see the original canvas and then the healed nano. You can see the indentions in the skin from the previous work. We talked about all this at her consultation. Summary: the nano did not stick. To create airy, fluffy strokes you have to hit a very thin layer that lies between the epidermis and the dermis. I think that layer has been replaced with collagen from the previous microblade with my client. THIS is why I invested in the Nanoblading training and the TIME it takes to master the technique. The faces of my client's are THAT important to me. As any permanent make up artist who ONLY does permanent makeup would know. When you spend all your time...40 hours a week doing this. You really get obsessed with perfection. If you choose to work on people's faces for a living...that's how it should be! Periodt. Microblading is an advanced form of Micropigmentation...NOT a beginner skill set. Micropigmentation is an advanced form of tattoo, bc the skin of the face is the thinnest skin on the body. The movements have to be very controlled and small. The pigments are specifically designed for the face. The movements are unique to the face. The pressure is MUCH LESS than tattooing. The difference between the correct depth, and incorrect depth are ONE QUARTER millimeter. On some skin types... one-eighth MILLIMETER! ....think about that. The difference between beautiful results and botched work is one eighth of one inch. THAT is why it is imperative to go to an SPCP & AAM certified trainer with almost 2 decades of experience to start off any career in micropigmentation. The skin is the canvas. If you plan on making a career in micropigmentation, DM me for advice on selection of trainers. Selection of trainers is crucial for a successful career. The fundamentals are ESSENTIAL. The microblading work from elsewhere that I have seen (transfer clients) does not look like my work. I invested in the proper training to do it correctly. My first clients were my FRIENDS & FAMILY. I had 7 models volunteer for my microblading education. I wasn't taking any short cuts with their faces. I was fortunate to learn vicariously as well. However, the nature of implantation and how the device moves through the skin in Microblading...is hard on the skin even when done properly. THAT is why I strongly recommend Nano now. Nano is the most advanced technique under the micropigmentation umbrella. Microblading is seriously so.... 2018. Are people seriously still ...just microblading? Invest in better. So, due to the previous work, even the nano did not stick. So, we transitioned her to microshading this session. This will soften 40% and give her a beautiful, natural and sudtle result once healed.
