Pink Floyd - 8th April 1975 (Live in Vancouver) - Recorder 1 (Definitive Edition)

Happy 50th anniversary to this interesting show, and what a way to celebrate! Here is an upgrade to Recorder 1, sent in to me by Mr W. Containing Have A Cigar's debut performance, an extended Brain Damage (because Roger felt like it!), and some interesting soundscapes (for example, footsteps and whilsting which I believe could be from their recently abandoned Household Objects album), this is certainly one to check out. Hope you enjoy this amazing stereo recording, now available in the best current quality here on YouTube. I have applied a de-clip (enhanced for Echoes' left channel), as well as a de-crackle with RX11. I have also balanced the channels and applied some gain. No EQ has been done, nor have I tried fixing the stutters which occur throughout, I thought this copy should be presented as such. Perhaps if I explored a matrix with the mono Recorder 2, that would be looked into. Also, parts of You've Got To Be Crazy and Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. I-V) lose the right channel. This is as the taper wants it, so I left it as is. If a matrix project is explored (who knows? It definitely has potential), this can be stereo, but I wanted to make this upload all about this amazing recording! Plus, there is a small cut in Echoes near the end, and Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part IX cuts early. Massive thanks to Fred Weyerman for what is presented here, including the photo too!
