Marco Rubio Begs Fox Viewers To Save His Failing Campaign

Marco Rubio went on Fox News this week to beg viewers to start sending him money because he is getting clobbered by his Democratic opponent, Val Demings. Demings is currently several points ahead of Rubio in the polls, and she could manage to squeeze out a major victory by unseating one of the more pathetic Republicans in the Senate. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening. Link - https://www.huffpost.com/entry/marco-... Poor little Marco Rubio is suffering right now because his democratic opponent for November's elections, Val dimmings here in the state of Florida is out raising him by millions and millions of dollars. Val Demmings currently has $46 million cash on hand to run for Senate here in the state of Florida. And Marco Rubio is terrified. He's terrified because polls show that dimmings is ahead of him by four points in the latest poll. So things aren't looking good for Marco. So he does what every Republican does. When they're in trouble, he runs crying to Fox news and he begs the audience. Please give me some money because I'm getting creamed out here. So here's what Rubio had to say. I need people to help me because she's raising all this money from ultra liberals. Please give because we are being out raised. I'm the one that passed the burn pit legislation. I'm the one that passed the for reforms to the VA. I'm the one that passed the child tax credit. Yeah. See a lot of those things though, that you're bragging about. Y'all didn't support it first, right? We, we had to go back and redo a lot of those things because no Republicans would support it. Remember, remember the whole John Stewart thing, Marco, I know you do. I know you were there. So stop taking credit for things you didn't even want to do in the first place. But it is fun to see these little bitty Republicans reduced to whining, crying little babies, because they just can't raise enough money right now. And Ruby, of course, wouldn't even be in this situation. If Rick Scott hadn't mishandled all the Senate Republicans money and effectively lost 145 million of it. So yeah, things are tough. It's tough right now to be a Republican in the Senate. Things aren't looking good. The polls are shifting more and more towards the democratic party. The money has dried up. So y'all better go stand on street corners right now with little signs, because that's about the only hope that you have left. Although I will also add this, we all know that Fox news of course is a heavily Republican right wing network. But when they open up their airwaves to allow Republicans like Marco Rubio to come on there and beg for donations, they effectively turn their entire network into an infomercial for that candidate. So the question I have is how is that legal? I know it is, but can't we reform those laws that will prohibit a candidate from going on national news and begging for money when their opponents do not have that same luxury. That just, that just doesn't seem quite right. Does it also Fox news has apparently just dropped all the facade and they're making it clear this year that we are In the business of electing Republicans. We're not in the business of informing people. We're not in the business of entertaining people. We're in the business of electing Republicans and they can use our airwaves and turn 'em into one big campaign commercial anytime they want. That's what that network has now officially become. It's not surprising. We all knew they were very right wing, but they have definitely taken this weird turn in recent weeks, trying desperately to help Republicans, Sean Hannity the other night, coming out and begging people to just vote for Republicans, do not vote for Democrats. It's an RNC campaign network at this point. And I guarantee you, if we were to go through and look at all the laws, regulating these kinds of things, we could probably find something that they're breaking, but our media laws and our campaign finance laws are so weak.
