Series 3 Episode 35: Show, eggs & Fifes

Hello and welcome to Shed Talk, my weekly magazine video series looking at the keeping, breeding and showing of cage birds with a special focus on the exhibition style budgerigar. In this episode we all get a chance to look at some of the birds that were entered into the Swindon Young Stock Show and there were a few very nice examples on the bench. We watch our judge Mr Alan Fretten sort through them and finish with a few word from him on the winners and those others that were placed. But it is not all about the Show, the episode opens with an update of the Fife chicks as I try to guess the colours, did I get it right? Let me know your thoughts. With the Fife breeding in full swing the budgerigars a reaching the end, just four cages still active, a few young and a few eggs, are any of them full?
