We are a few days away from the beginning of August, which FOX 13 Meteorologist Dave Osterberg says is the meat of hurricane season. He says things typically don’t pick up in the tropics until we get into August. However, he says right now there’s not a lot going on thanks to several Saharan dust waves, which have impeded tropical development so far this year.
