Like our facebook page : -- / sanghviskitchen Music: --Pay Day from Youtube Audio Library ****************Besan Capsicum Sabji Recipe************* :INGREDIENTS: 3 medium sized Capsicum chopped in cubes 3-4 tablespoon Gram Flour (Besan) 1 Onion chopped 1 Tablespoon Garlic chopped ½ Tablespoon Ginger Chili Paste 6-7 Curry Leaves ½ Teaspoon Mustard Seeds ½ Teaspoon Cumin Seeds ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Leaves 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder 1 Tablespoon Dried Mango Powder (Aam choor) Salt to taste 3-4 Tablespoon Oil Method:- -Roast Besan in a Pan on slow flame for 2-3 minutes. Stir continuously otherwise Besan could get burnt. Once Besan starts to leave aroma, turn off the gas. -Add 3-4 Tablespoon oil in another pan. Once oil heats, add Cumin Seeds and Mustard Seeds. Let them crackle. Add curry Leaves, Asafoetida, Garlic, Ginger Chili Paste, Onions and Mix well. -Cook them on slow-medium flame for 2-3 minutes till brown. Add Capsicum, Turmeric Powder and Mix well and Sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Capsicums should be cooked till 25%. -Add 2 tablespoon water. Cover the lid and cook on slow flame after 5 minutes check again. Capsicums should be cooked till 85% this time. -Now add all the spices; Red Chili Powder, Salt, Aam Choor for tanginess, Roasted Besan and Mix thoroughly. -Now Sprinkle some water so that Besan will easily coat over capsicum and Mix well. Cover again and cook for 3-4 minutes on slow flame. -After 4 minutes check. Again sprinkle some water and mix. Our Sabji is ready. Turn off the gas. Transfer in a serving plate. Serve with Roti or Paratha.
