2013 NISSAN Pathfinder - Alternate Command Mode (One Step Calling) (if so equipped)

The Alternate Command Mode lets you control the Audio and Display systems and provides additional commands for Vehicle Information, Phone and Navigation systems. To activate the Alternate Command Mode: • Press the Setting button • Select the Others key • Select voice recognition • And then select the Alternate Command Mode When activated, the system does not announce or display the available commands at each step and you can say things like: • "Call [name]" for example "Call John Smith" • "Places" for a list of POI categories • "Weather Information" to show weather information • "Traffic Information" to turn the traffic information system on and off • [Audio Source] for example "Bluetooth Audio" or "XM" to change source When the Alternate Command Mode is activated, an expanded list of commands can be used after pushing the TALK switch. The Standard Mode commands are not offered when the Alternate Command Mode is on display. To find a complete list of commands available, please see your Owner's Manual. Please note: The voice recognition success rate may be affected as the number of available commands and ways of speaking each command are increased. The Alternate Command Mode uses specific voice prompts. To become familiar with the commands you can do the following: Push the Talk switch; listen for the tone and say, "Help". The system will respond by displaying the command list main menu. Another way to obtain the command list is to press the INFO button on the instrument panel. Next, select the "Others" key. Then, select the "Voice Recognition" key. For more information on your Bluetooth® system refer to your Owner's Manual or visit www.nissanusa.com/bluetooth.
