Silent Hill 2: Bathroom Mirror Cutscene - Full Brightness Reveal: James is gazing at you.

I read a post on reddit talking about how James is actually staring at the player and not himself in the bathroom's mirror just at the very beginning of Silent Hill 2. I took the raw file of this cutscene from the PC version of the game (Silent Hill 2\data\movie\toilet.bik) and turned up brightness to check this, and I think it's true... It's very very unsettling, and a rare secret that hasn't been talked about that much.
