THE RESCUE OF "CLARA", A SWEET CANADA GOOSE FEELING ILL IN A BIG PARK. SAD UPDATE.

I saw a female Canada goose 3 days ago suffering from depression. She was underweight. She was being picked on by other Canada geese and Mallard ducks. This is a clue a wild animal is not Ok. Wild animals don't want the ill, or injured animal to attract predators, so the healthy wild animals will chase, attack the infirm animal to keep him/her far from the group. They do it to survive. Today I rescued "Clara" and transported her immediately to a wildlife hospital where staff were expecting her. My rescues are fast, soft, I try to cause the less stress possible to the injured, or sick wild animal. I never chase an animal to catch him/her. I respect the living creature that has become vulnerable due to disability. "Clarita" has all of the symptoms of lead poisoning. This is just my opinion. She'll be tested. The doctors at the hospital will make a diagnosis soon. I'll post an UPDATE here. "Clarita" is a sweet Canada goose, very humble. Please, pray for her, for doctors to save her dear life. No animal, domestic or wild should be abandoned to his/her fate by humans when he/she is injured, sick. We, as humans are the big brothers and sisters of animals; it's our obligation to help them. UPDATE ON "CLARA": ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2023, DOCTORS STARTED GIVING HER CHELATION TREATMENT FOR LEAD POISONING. SHE'S STABLE, SHE'S A QUIET GOOSE, IS EATING A LITTLE MORE. STILL HER PROGNOSIS IS GUARDED. PLEASE, PRAY FOR HEALING FOR THIS INNOCENT CREATURE, UPDATE ON "CLARA" ON SEPTEMBER 10/23: DOCTORS AND STAFF ARE HAPPY TO SEE LITTLE "CLARA" IMPROVING RIGHT NOW, AFTER 5 DAYS OF CHELATION TREATMENT FOR LEAD POISONING. SHE IS ALERT, AND SHE'S SWIMMING WITH A MATE IN THE POOL. BEFORE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SWIM. DOCTORS ARE OPTIMISTIC ABOUT HER HEALTH. "CLARA" WAS DYING WHEN I RESCUED HER. PLEASE, PRAY FOR THE TOTAL HEALING OF THIS SWEET AND BRAVE CANADA GOOSE. "CLARA" TESTED NEGATIVE FOR AVIAN INFLUENZA. SHE HAS A LESION IN ONE OF HER EYES AND IS BEING TREATED BY THE DOCTORS. FINAL UPDATE: I WAS INFORMED TODAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2023, THAT ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2023, MY "CLARITA" SUCCUMBED TO HER ILLNESS. SHE DIED. MY SADNESS IS INMENSE.
