The first half of 6.2 features the long awaited debut of Durin, our mysterious Pyro Sword user. Yes, the same Durin from Mondstadt’s lore. Reliable leaks revealed his full kit, and this guy looks insane in both design and synergy. His Skill grants the Essential Transmutation effect, letting him switch between two stances: Confirmation of Purity and Denial of Darkness. Each completely changes his playstyle. In Confirmation of Purity, his Burst Principle of Purity: As the Light Shifts deals AoE Pyro damage and summons the Dragon of White Flame, which follows your active character and deals periodic Pyro DMG. Triggering Burning, Overloaded, Pyro Swirl, or Pyro Crystallize lowers enemy Pyro RES and reaction RES. Durin basically melts resistances like butter. In Denial of Darkness, he uses Principle of Darkness: As the Stars Smolder to deal single target Pyro DMG and summon the Dragon of Dark Decay, focusing on one enemy for massive hits. This mode boosts his Vaporize and Melt DMG by 40%, turning him into a pyro reactive powerhouse. He’s stylish, flexible, and powerful, and a five star Sword user, which fans will love. Joining him is a new four star, Jahoda, an Anemo Bow healer. Her Burst summons two cute helpers that heal the team, and if HP goes above 70%, they grant +100 Elemental Mastery for six seconds. She heals and buffs reaction damage, a great four star addition. Durin headlines Phase 1 alongside a rerun of Varesa, a stacked banner with a new Pyro DPS and one of Natlan’s strongest units. Phase 2 brings Xilonen’s return and Venti’s rerun, perfect for Mondstadt fans who’ve been waiting. 6.2 is loaded: a new DPS, a healer, and three top tier reruns. But 6.3 takes it even further.
