I wrote this song in April, 2017, after the Lord had answered the prayer that I'd been praying about for over a year on Jan.31, 2017 (to get a song entitled "Missionaries" out to some true missionaries). God answered my prayers with a "Yes" and an amazing story that He orchestrated in His perfect timing! All of the songs on this Album "Trust in the Lord With All Thine Heart" tell a little piece of that amazing story. There are many great, dramatic, and amazing stories in the Bible that are full of shock and awe and this particular story that God gave me is also one that is full of shocking details that are hard for some people to comprehend, but, nevertheless, they are true. God gave to me a song to give to some true missionaries but He wanted to test my faith to see if I would trust Him or give up! Don't Give Up on your vision just yet! The Lord has a plan for you! Let's don't forget! If it is the Lord's will, He will see you through. He will help you. He will orchestrate it all. Pray to Him! On the Lord do call! I hope my story will inspire! I will be exalting God and telling you about His Mighty Power! I want to encourage you! Don't Give Up! Don't Give In! When Satan gathers the enemies around you, remember Jesus is your Friend! The clique tried to shut me down but God brought it all back around to my joy despite their evil ploy. I mean who in their right mind, if they are a saved child of God, would not want to get an encouraging song out to their missionaries? All of us have a choice to do right or to do wrong or to do nothing which sometimes can also be wrong! Satan can certainly tempt a saved person to do wrong! You know and I know that "Politics" is in everything from baseball and other sports and even in our churches! (Lord, help us all!) But, you've heard of possibly two shortstops on a baseball team and the coach's son, who is no better than the other's son, gets to play shortstop simply because they are the coach's son. Even though, politics like this have no place in our churches, sometimes that very thing happens. The people who can make things happen by just word of mouth don't make it happen because their name is not all over it. What happened to doing something to bring honor and glory to God? Pride gets in the way and jealousy abounds! Even though my name or my husband's name was not on the "Clique List", God was listening to my prayers everyday about this! God knew my heart's aim and God knew my name! He put an end to my hater's game! Prayer can change things and of God's Mighty Power I am going to sing! With my songs I will declare His Mighty Acts among the people. He is my glorious King and about my glorious King, I will sing! (Isaiah 12:4,5, 1 Chronicles 16:8, Psalm 105:1, Psalm 145:4,5, Psalm 34:3) Don't Give Up just because you have "haters". I prayed for my haters by name and God let them know quick that He was not going to put up with their hateful games. The details are shocking but the story is true. Never underestimate how much some can truly hate you. Some have said "Hate is a strong word" but you better believe that Satan's attacks are real and he will work through people who will allow their minds to be grilled with evil seared on his hot grill. If God wants to use you to do something encouraging and good, Satan will use even saved people to discourage you and try to keep you from doing the things you should. I'm so thankful to God for the lesson that I learned. "If God be for us, who can be against us?" No one can stop God's plan. God has a plan for you, my friend, so Don't Give Up, Don't Give In! One person had no intention to ever apologize for their lies and they died. One person admitted their wrong and their lies and did apologize and tried to make things right in God's sight. I had prayed for both of them and many more people by name on many a day and many a night. I had prayed that the Lord would convict them to do what was right. So far, only one has had any remorse or conviction of their sin. Prideful, prideful women and men! I still pray for all of them by name that could've and should've done the right thing and I still sing to exalt my King! Although, I might not ever get a dime's worth of acknowledgment of their crime, I know, without a doubt, that the Lord will take care of it in due time! My songs are more than a true story that rhymes. They are God's gift to me and He gave them to me at the exact perfect time. My prayer is that maybe these songs can be God's gift to you, too, to encourage you! The Bible says that God's word will not return unto Him void. So, if you are feeling down and discouraged, just know that you can Trust in the Lord With All Thine Heart and His mercy and His grace to you He will impart!
