Young Woman with Cancer Goes Home for the Holidays

BC Children's Hospital patient, Brooke Malakoff, has spent the past three Christmases fighting a rare form of cancer. 20-year-old Brooke continues to live her life with hope, although her long term prognosis is not positive. As Elaine Yong explains, Malakoff is intent on making the most of her time, and celebrating the holidays out of the hospital.
