Welcome to The Baking Home ☺️ This video is about eggless Whole Wheat chocolate Donuts 😋 kids favourite adults favourite 😀 These are fried ones as baked ones will not suit to Indian palate😜 Decorated with white and milk chocolate.. colorful sprinkles and topping. You can also use dark chocolate. I have made the dough in stand mixer.. you can knead by hands too for 10 minutes. Can watch my Pav making tutorial for that. Ingredients 280 gms atta 2 tbsp milk powder 1 tsp yeast 2 tbsp sugar 3/4 cup warm milk ( less or more depending on flour) 4 tbsp butter( soft) 1/4 tsp salt( if using unsalted butter) oil for greasing and frying For decoration White chocolate Dark chocolate sprinkles Oreo biscuits Gems 🎉 Take a lukewarm water in vessel.. check it should not be too hot . 🎉Add sugar and yeast..mix it and keep aside for 5 minutes. 🎉 After 5 minutes, you can see the froth and bubbles in yeast sugar mixture. it means yeast is activated. 🎉Add atta and milk powder into yeast mix. 🎉 Mix everything. 🎉Add lukewarm milk gradually and start kneading the dough. 🎉 Don't add milk in one go..as mentioned above. You may need less or more milk depending on the quality of the flour used. 🎉Knead soft sticky dough for 5 minutes. 🎉 After 5 minutes add soft butter( not melted) and knead again for 5 minutes. 🎉We need gluten formation so kneading is very important. 🎉The dough will be sticky first and after kneading for 10-15 minutes it will turn elastic and non sticky. This means dough is perfect. 🎉 Grease the vessel with butter/ oil and rest the dough for 1 hour.( or till the dough is double in size) 🎉 When the dough is double..punch it to release air. Don't skip punching else you'll get yeast smell in your dough. 🎉 Knead again for 2-3 minutes and divide the dough into equal portions. 🎉Roll the divided balls using rolling pin and make a hole in the centre. You can also flat the ball with your hands ..as shown in the video. 🎉 Place the prepared Donuts on parchment/ butter paper. You can also dust some flour on steel plate and keep them. 🎉These Donuts need rest for second proofing. Cover them and keep aside for half an hour or till doubles. 🎉Heat oil.. keep the flame medium..fry Donuts 1 or 2 at a time. 🎉 Please see the flame is not high or low. If fried on low.. they will absorb more oil.. and will turn hard. On high.. they'll get cook from outside and not inside. So fry them on medium flame. 🎉 Once all the Donuts are done..melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler method.(can ask for the process) 🎉Dip the warm Donuts into melted chocolate and decorate with colorful sprinkles of your choice. 🎉Tip: if the chocolate sets on donut.. you can blow air through hair dryer on it and it's melted again for further decoration. 🎉 Enjoy the yummy homemade eggless wheat Donuts 😋☺️ If you like this video then do like share and comment.
