My YouTube Handle: / @jenniferathome My YouTube Page: / jenniferathome Instagram: Jennifer_at__home @JenniferatHome Jennifer at Home’s No Spread Sugar Cookies 1 large (cold) egg 3 c. flour 1 c. sugar ½ t. salt ½ t. vanilla (or ANY extract of your choice) 2 sticks butter (salted or unsalted) Directions: Pre-heat oven to 325 Bake 10-14 minutes Mix room temperature butter, sugar and salt on low, just until mixed Add cold egg, and extract of your choice. Mix on low, just until mixed. It will look lumpy. Scrape down the bowl, and mix again on low. Gradually add in flour, rapidly, as the mixer is mixing. Mix until it all comes together and the dough starts to clean the side of the bowl. Touch the dough, if it imprints, but doesn’t stick to your finger, it is done and ready. Roll on a powdered sugar surface, cut shapes, move onto tray to bake. Cool at least 2-3 minutes on baking tray before moving to cooling rack.
