Times of the Gentiles 1917

This is a very brief overview of the fulfilment of Bible Prophecy concerning the 7 times punishment of Judah, which comprises 2520 years of Gentile domination. First mentioned in the book of Leviticus (chapter 26:27-28), both Israel and Judah suffered the consequences of their continued idolatry; Israel being deported by the Assyrians mainly between 741-720 BC and later Judah was taken captive by the Babylonians, commencing 604 BC. In fulfilment of the prescribed time of punishment for Judah and Jerusalem, this 2520 year period expired in 1917. In 1888, a Bible preacher called H.G. Guinness proclaimed that this prophecy would be fulfilled in 1917. He discovered that the prophecies of the Bible are absolutely accurate. This is one of the most fascinating and powerful proofs that the Bible truly is the inspired Word of God.
