Cathy McMorris Rodgers in DC: "Today, they will be greeted with a barricade"

Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) [Chair of the House Republican Conference] speaks out on Day 2 of the partial Government Shutdown in response to the barricades setup to prevent entry into DC historical sites and monuments. "Today, they will be greeted with a barricade. That is unacceptable. There is no reason that these monuments shouldn't be open, open to Americans, open to these Veterans. The only reason they are being greeted with barricades is because the Senate right now refuses to negotiate!" says McMorris Rodgers.
