Tropical Storm to Impact Texas Tomorrow! Update on TD9 and Tropical Storm Franklin!

Tropical Depression 9 has formed in the central Gulf of Mexico and is likely to strengthen into Tropical Storm Howard tomorrow. Howard is expected to bring Tropical Storm force winds and heavy rainfall to Southern Texas tomorrow, and then move into Northeastern Mexico, bringing a major flood threat between the Rio Grande River and the Sierra Oriental Mountians due to Orographic lifting. Franklin will slowly move north over the next few days, and bring dangerous flooding to the Dominican Republic. Please prepare for Tropical Storm conditions tomorrow if you live in Southern Texas.
