Tornadoes Slam Long Island, Leaves 12 Thousand Without Power

Multiple tornadoes slammed Long Island late Saturday afternoon after a heavy storm moved through the area. Multiple communities have started picking up the pieces. Just before 3PM on Saturday, a tornado warning was issued for western Nassau County as powerful storms moved through the area. A few residents in Levittown, New York stated that they saw a funnel cloud moving through the area as the winds picked up and rain was coming down sideways.
