National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Can Start Building 4

RIVERSIDE -- The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is finally getting its fourth wing.Last month Turner construction, of Washington DC, won the $35 million contract, but then a rival contractor filed an agency protest, but the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers denied that protest. Today it was announced that the Air Force Museum can move forward.''It's all part of the process, it's all OK. We just have to account for the delay and make some adjustments. That's all OK too.''Construction on the museum's fourth building will begin this summer and it should open to the public in early 2016.The fourth building will house the Presidential Aircraft Gallery, including the JFK Air Force One. It will also house a research and development gallery, another for ''global reach'', and a new space gallery.
