He said that this great historical event has profoundly changed the fate of our country and society, opening a new era, helping Laos to move forward quickly and firmly on the path of independence, autonomy, unity and prosperity, ensuring that people have a prosperous, free and happy life. The parade and march of the armed forces, ministries, branches, organizations, and political-social organizations of Laos took place in a grand and solemn manner afterward, vividly demonstrating the achievements in all areas of life, society, economy, and national defense that the Lao Party and people have achieved over the past 50 years. Lao media said that this was one of the largest parades in the country ever.
