Pioneering Spirit installing topsides on a GBS (animation)

Pioneering Spirit is designed as a multi-purpose lift, transportation and pipelay vessel to install and remove topsides as well as steel jacket structures, each in one single lift. The vessel has the capability to install or remove platform topsides of up to 48,000 tonnes and jackets up to 25,000 tonnes in a single lift operation. Furthermore, the vessel is equipped with pipelay facilities.
