Thee is a safe spot after you solve the puzzle, so you don't take damage and use no ammo. Follow exactly what I do in the video and you will kill him quickly and in one storage container swing. It's a bit challenging to get the timing bang on but you need to use at least 370 Flame Fuel on him otherwise the container will not knock him off first time. I've got it down now and find him straight forward using this method on any difficulty.
