In this short video segment, you and I will take about three minutes out of our day to meditate on a special piece of Catholic wisdom. Today’s meditation is a prayer of faith and trust. Prayers like these are important because they allow you to put to words the thoughts of your mind. And when you are able to vocalize things, they tend to become less frightening or unmanageable. To have complete faith or trust in Our Lord and Our Lady, and the plans they have for you takes courage. Say this prayer with me now and attain that courage through these words. “God of Heaven’s Armies, Thou tellest me to put my trust in Thee when I am afraid. Dear God, I am definitely afraid. I am afraid of things that are happening in my life. I am afraid for my future. I am afraid for my loved ones…. I can feel the enemy near and I need Thine protection. Come to me, dear God, and fill me with Thy Holy Spirit. Help me to put my hope in Thee. I thank Thee for being my rock and my shield. I thank Thee for being my God in whom I can rely on and trust. I praise Thee because even when I was faithless, Thou remained faithful to me. Mold me into Thine image, and hold me close to Thee. Steady my trust in Thee so that it never wavers, no matter what battles I face on this earth. I declare that my faithfulness to Thee will be strong at all times.” At Fatima, Our Lady told Lucia: “Do not be dismayed. I will never forsake you. My Immaculate Heart shall be your refuge and the road that shall lead you to God.” I encourage you to have faith and trust that her words are also for you. Thank you for joining me today. I hope today's meditation helped you to grow in your faith. Talk to you again soon. Catholic Prayer Against Fear America Needs Fatima is a campaign to capture the heart and soul of America with the Message of Our Lady of Fatima. In 1917, Our Lady asked for prayer, penance and other measures to avoid chastisement of suffering, famines, and wars. She also promised that: “Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” Website: https://americaneedsfatima.org/ Follow us at: YouTube:    / @americaneedsfatima   Facebook:   / americaneedsfatima.anf   Instagram:   / americaneedsfatima   Twitter:   / americanfatima
